10-Year-Old Humiliated At School After Teacher Tapes Her Mouth Shut In Class

It’s all about defining what’s crossing the line. When it comes to disciplining students, teachers are meant to guide their students and be their role models. Children spend most of their early age in school, and in these crucial years, their mental and social capabilities are at their fullest potential for growth and development.

Sometimes things can get a little out of control when it comes to children, and teachers as adults should be well aware of that. While discipline is important, students should not be left to feel humiliated in front of others, especially in class. Unfortunately, it was not the case for one of the teachers.

At Dupont Tyler Middle School in Nashville, Tennessee, ten year old Reagan Phillips was humiliated in front of her classmates after her teacher used duct tape to silence her in class.
