A family in Oklahoma is likely grappling with a list of unanswered questions as they mourn the death of their 9-year-old son reportedly at the hands of his 12-year-old sister. The horrific aftermath was caught on newly released police body camera footage.
In the distressing video, the preteen openly and remorsefully admits to the crime, profusely and repeatedly apologizing. As she does this, officers place her in handcuffs before taking her from the home she shared with her family.
The girl immediately confessed to stabbing her brother. The girl, whose identity has not been released, said that she used a knife to repeatedly stab her brother, Zander, while he slept, the New York Post reports. The incident took place just after midnight on January 5. Read the full story here ▶
