A 5-year-old boy from San Tan Valley, Arizona, saved his mother’s life by trusting his instincts during an emergency. When Salvatore Cicalese heard a loud noise coming from the bathroom next door, he found his mother on the floor, unresponsive. Instead of panicking, Salvatore wrapped his two-month-old sister in a blanket, used a bar stool to open the garage door, and carried his sister to the house of their next-door neighbor.
Jessica Penoyer, the neighbor, was surprised to find the children at her front door in the middle of the night. Salvatore explained that his mother had died while taking a shower and asked for help. Read the full story here ▶
