At least six people are injured after suspect stabs victims at Vancouver library 

One particular person is useless and at least six people have been wounded in a mass stabbing at a Canadian library.  

Police say ‘a number of victims’ had been stabbed inside and out of doors Lynn Valley Library, in North Vancouver on Saturday afternoon.

At least six victims had been taken to the hospital with stab wounds and and one particular person has been confirmed useless, Global News reported.  

The suspect has been taken into custody and it’s believed he acted alone, in line with police.

Video taken on the scene, and posted on Twitter, reveals the obvious attacker injuring himself with a knife earlier than he is swarmed with officers and arrested. 

‘I used to be within the library neighborhood room and simply exterior, immediately, we hear yelling and everybody stopped and stared, everybody began working out the aspect door,’ witness Mary Craver instructed Global News.

‘I simply began working too. We ran all the way in which to the mall.’

Another witness, who solely gave his title as Steve, stated he noticed a girl with a seven-year-old boy who had a number of knife wounds and was ‘bleeding profusely.’

Mayor of District of North Vancouver, Mike Little, praised the ‘fast motion and wonderful teamwork’ of the emergency companies and despatched ‘our absolute best needs to the victims and their households, who had been simply out on their common Saturday business.’ 

‘Lynn Valley and the entire District of North Vancouver is a close-knit, quiet neighborhood. An incident like that is deeply upsetting when it occurs locally we love,’ Little stated.
