According to the court documents, the defendant, later identified as 27-year-old Enrico, was found guilty of first-degree murder while engaged in the commission of a felony and aggravated child abuse resulting in great bodily harm.
Prosecutors said the boyfriend faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison. The 27-year-old man will spend the rest of his life in prison after he beat his girlfriend’s baby to death while the boy was in his care.
