Social media and the internet in general had made being a parent much more scary these days. In times before the internet, you could monitor your children and meet their friends / associates.
During these times you know who they interacted with and spent time with.
Now, kids talk to people on the internet that they never get to meet in person and may never actually know a day in their lives. This was the case for one father and his children.
