According to the court documents, the 48-year-old defendant, Sandra, who prosecutors claim took part in her ex-boyfriend’s daughter’s kidnapping, claims she is innocent after she recently took the stand.
The 48-year-old woman and her 25-year-old son Mark were charged with multiple charges, including: conspiracy to commit a crime, se-ual penetration by force, kidnapping, torture and other charges.
Both defendants were found guilty of all charges related to the kidnapping. Sandra is facing a potential sentence of life in prison without parole and Mark a life sentence with the possibility of parole. Read the full story here ▶
