Police officials said the 33-year-old man, later identified as Montrel, was taken into custody and later charged with multiple charges, including: murder, neglect of a dependent resulting in catastrophic injury, aggravated battery, and battery resulting in death to a person less than 14 years old after he reportedly killed his 4-year-old cousin Jolly.
Police officials also said the 911 dispatcher received a call about a 4-year-old boy who was having a seizure.
The first responders reportedly found the victim unconscious. There were no visible signs of injury on the child, the paramedic observed, but he was unresponsive, L&C reported. Read the full story here ▶
