A Florida man who fatally beat his wife with a bat and later strangled their four kids was sentenced to death on Friday, April 28.
At the court hearing, Ocala County Judge Anthony Tatti formalized Michael Jones’ fate after a jury recommended the death penalty at a January sentencing trial.
According to the Ocala Star Banner, the lawyer for the quintuple killer said he plans to appeal the sentence.
The July 2019 deaths were triggered after Jones’ wife, Casei Jones, accused him of cheating on her after she checked his phone. Read the full story here ▶
