A mother in Arizona has been arrested on child neglect charges after she allegedly abandoned her children at a park and never returned.
As KPHO/KTVK, 23-year-old Valerie Hazel Carlisle dropped off her 2-year-old daughter and her 9-year-old sister in a park in Phoenix Saturday night and ordered them to stay put until she came back.
According to the court records, the older girl later told authorities that her mother told her and her sister to wait at the park because she would be right back. Read the full story here ▶
