Police officials said the 49-year-old woman, later identified as Patricia, reportedly shot and killed her daughter’s boyfriend.
During an interview with investigators, the woman said that she arrived at the victim’s home to assist daughter moving out. She was arrested and later charged with the shooting murder of her daughter’s allegedly abusive boyfriend, Joshua.
Patricia’s daughter told police that she had been in an ongoing domestic disturbance with her boyfriend since December 2021. The day before the shooting, Patricia’s daughter said Joshua hit her above the eye with a cell phone, according to police documents. Read the full story here ▶
