The 27-year-old mother, Mary, who along with her 30-year-old husband, Alan, t0rtured and killed her 4-year-old son, Judah, pleaded guilty to neglect resulting in the death of a dependent and domestic battery to a child.
Prosecutors said that the defendant will likely spend many years behind bars for her role in the brutal death of the 4-year-old boy. Prosecutors said the child was starved, beaten, bound with duct tape and kept in a dark basement without furniture.
Mary is facing a maximum sentence of 40 years for the neglect resulting in death charge and up to six years on the domestic battery charge.Read the full story here ▶
