Nebraska mom who plied underage boys with alcohol and pot at ‘sex sleepovers’ faces 102 year sentence

Nebraska mom Christina Greer has been sentenced to over a century in prison after being convicted of using alcohol and marijuana to groom young adolescent boys into having sex with her during sleepovers.

According to ABC affiliate KETV in Omaha, Papillion, Nebraska mom Christina Greer was given a 102-year sentence Monday for sexually assaulting a child.

Greer, 38, was convicted in March on multiple counts of sexual assault, child abuse and witness tampering.

Prosecutors said the mother groomed and sexually assaulted her daughter’s friends, aged 12 and 13, on multiple occasions when they visited her house for a sleepover.

The victims were boys, ages 12 and 13. Court documents alleged Greer groomed three boys to have sex with her by providing them alcohol and drugs.

Prosecutors noted that the adolescent victims will have to deal with the trauma inflicted on them by Nebraska mom Christina Greer for the rest of their lives.

“Having sex with an adult female is thought of, that’s the cool kid of the group. It’s just not the case in these situations. They’ve been bullied, transferred schools multiple times. It’s just unfortunate they have to continue to deal with it,” Sarpy County Deputy Attorney Phil Kleine said, according to NBC affiliate WOWT.

“Now our victims are 15, 16 years old. One of them just got a driver’s license. Now they’re going to have to deal with this rest of their lives. Any relationship will have trust issues due to what she did to them.”

Nebraska mom Christina Greer apologized in court for her actions, saying she’s “so ashamed and sorry” for what happened.

In court today, Greer sobbed through her statement, saying she’s “so ashamed and sorry” for what happened. And that as a mom, it’s her duty to protect her children, saying she “failed.”

“She groomed them. She formed emotional relationships with kids to take advantage of them,” Kleine said of Nebraska mom Christina Greer.

Nebraska mom Christina Greer’s attorney had sought a 15 year sentence, but the judge ultimately ordered a sentence of 64 to 102 years.

“[She] will be in her early 80s by the time she’s eligible for parole in 2068,” WOWT wrote.

The judge condemned the woman’s actions, saying the mother left “a wake of destruction” and because of her actions, the boys had “lost their childhood.”

She sexually abused the two boys during sleepovers they had with her 12-year-old daughter.

Nebraska mom Christina Greer was convicted on all counts back in March after roughly three hours of jury deliberation.

The woman was also found guilty of attempting to influence one of the boys not to testify and her daughter even told the court that her mother had also told her not to tell anyone about the abuse.

“It’s been three years, a harrowing experience for the families, for the victims. It’s been a roller coaster of emotions. Just immensely proud of the victims in this case to be able to stay on course and still testify,” Kleine said at the time of Nebraska mom Christina Greer’s conviction.

“The victims showed a lot of courage by standing up to their abuser,” Sarpy County Chief Deputy Attorney Bonnie Moore told Oxygen. “After an exhausting and harrowing experience, this verdict hopefully brings a measure of justice to the victims and their families.”

“She said we shouldn’t tell anybody because she’d get in trouble and lose her kids,” Greer’s daughter said in court, according to the Kearney Hub.
