Kashif Anwar, 29, is accused of murdering his pregnant wife Fawziyah Javed, 31, in September 2021 by pushing her from the hill in Edinburgh’s Holyrood Park.
A High Court in Edinburgh heard how Mr Anwar told police he ‘fell into her’ at the summit of the hill, which caused her to fall to her death.
The fall is said to have caused her multiple blunt-force injuries and ultimately her death, and her unborn child’s. Read the full story here ▶
