AUSTIN, TEXAS: Heidi Broussard’s body has been laid to rest after it was recovered last week. Broussard and her baby daughter were reported missing on December 12. The baby was returned to the family after DNA testing confirmed her identity.
The 33-year-old mother lived in Austin, Texas with her family, including her fiancé, Shane Carey, and her six-year-old son, Silas. She and her daughter Margot Carey were reported missing December 12.
Shane Carey had previously turned to the public to seek help in finding her. According to earlier reports, Margot Carey was found in a home in Houston last week.
