A student who was brutally gang raped then killed while giving a friend a lift home had tried to bargain with her killers to let her go if she agreed to sex, a court heard.
Hannah Cornelius, 21, was ambushed and carjacked by the men while dropping her friend Cheslin Marsh, 22, at his home in Stellenbosch, Cape Town after a night out in May.
The men allegedly robbed and assaulted the pair, leaving Cheslin for dead, before raping then killing Hannah. Read the full story here ▶
