A 19-year-old claims she’s nine months pregnant with baby Jesus, but her mother says she’s delusional (video below).
“I am pregnant, and it is Jesus,” says Haley.
Kristi, Haley’s mother, says her daughter is a “compulsive liar” and “delusional,” reports The Huffington Post. Her mom says six pregnancy tests and numerous doctors have verified she’s not pregnant.
“I know my pregnancy is real. I’ve gained at least 22 pounds,” says Haley. “I was sleeping one night and my baby punched the bottom of my stomach and kicked me, and I can feel his head right here, right below my belly button.”
The young woman told her story on a Nov. 2 episode of talk show “Dr. Phil.” Ultrasound results will reveal whether she’s telling the truth on Nov. 3.
“My family, my friends, my pastors at church, they don’t believe that I’m pregnant,” Haley says. “I know it’s Jesus. I don’t care if my family disowns me. It really comes down to if you’re a true believer in Jesus or not … I don’t care what the home pregnancy test or a doctor says, when I give birth to my baby, no one is going to deny him because he’s my savior.”
Haley’s sister and mother discussed some of the other things Haley has lied about, including an appearance on “American Idol,” being a kidney donor and that recording artist Eminem is her father, according to Cosmopolitan.
The young woman also told Dr. Phil that she was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, but her medical records show otherwise, reports Metro.
