A routine traffic stop in Oklahoma last week saw a 65-year-old grandmother allegedly kick a police officer in the groin after she was pulled over for having a broken taillight. The woman was then tased before being taken to jail over an $80 ticket.
The wild altercation involved Debra Hamil, 65, whose behavior was captured on the responding officer’s body camera. The video was obtained by KOCO and starts with the officer asking Hamil to sign the ticket because of her broken taillight.
However, the woman gets into a heated argument with the cop instead. She could be heard asking the cop, “So you don’t even give a warning for that?”
The officer responds to her saying that she had been driving with the broken taillight for the last six months which leads to Hamil protesting. Read the full article here ▶
