According to the police officials, the 62-year-old suspect, later identified Christina, reportedly drove to her estranged husband’s home, walked in while the 80-year-old man, Jon, was sleeping and shot him because she didn’t want to divorce.
Christina was taken into custody and later charged with multiple charges, including: attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
Prosecutors later revealed that the woman will also be charged with forgery because she stole checks, forged one for $10,000 and cashed it. First responders arrived on scene a found the 80-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his wrist. Read the full story here ▶
