Woman leaves toddler with niece, receives photo message that has her cracking up

Moms rarely ever get any time to themselves.

Even when the kids are asleep or at school, there’s always something that needs to be done. That’s why they’re so good at multitasking.

That’s why “me time” is hard to come by when you’re a mom.

The work never stops: laundry, grocery shopping, general cleaning, cooking… name it, it’s a juggling act like no other.

It isn’t easy to hire a baby-sitter either, that’s why most moms search within the family to ensure that their kids will be in great hands while she’s away. This is also why it’s crucial to have a supportive village around you, a village that’s always ready to lend a hand especially when certain days are just too hectic.

Claudia Sorhaindo’s village isn’t just strong, supportive, and helpful – it happens to be a pretty creative and funny one, too.

There was one afternoon when Claudia had to leave her daughter Ava with her teenage niece, J’Ann. The responsible fifteen-year-old isn’t new to baby-sitting since she’s among 17 grandchildren. This has definitely allowed her to gain more than enough experience watching little kids, practically making her an expert sitter.

One of her methods is an out of the box one, something that stemmed from prioritizing the child’s safety.

In fact, her aunt Claudia just had to share one of the hacks J’Ann did while watching Ava.

Like the good baby-sitter that she is, J’Ann keeps Claudia updated by sending her photos, and one of the photos she sent had her aunt cracking up.

Apparently, J’Ann was hungry and wanted to make herself a sandwich but instead of leaving Ava in a crib or playpen, the quick-thinking baby-sitter thought of something better.

Claudia found it so funny that she just had to share it with everyone on Facebook.

Summed up in a short caption with a ton of emojis to emphasize how hilarious she found it, this was how Claudia described the scenario:

“So I had to run out the house for a quick min, so I asked my niece to babysit Baby Ava. A few min later I received a text saying that J’Ann wanted to make a sandwich but didn’t want to let baby Ava out of her sight. Lord send help this was her solution, like really. Creativity at its finest.”

More than being amused by her niece’s technique, Claudia was also quite grateful and impressed with how responsible J’Ann was with Ava.

See, back in 2011, Claudia lost her three-month-old daughter Jenelle so it was definitely heartwarming to see J’Ann so protective and hands on with Ava.

J’Ann is definitely the ideal baby-sitter. She did what she had to do to keep Ava safe and close while she fixed herself a snack.

Claudia and her kids are truly blessed to have a family that’s always ready to offer their support.

When Ava grows up, she and J’Ann will definitely have a good laugh as they look back and see these photos.

Kudos to the trustworthy teenager who helps make life easier for Claudia!
