According to the court documents, the 27-year-old mom, Emily, who reportedly killed her baby Addison, was resentenced and is now eligible for parole after spending 20 years in prison.
The young mother was resentenced on Thursday. In 2016, Emily was found guilty of aggravated murder, gross abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence.Prosecutors said the young mother gave birth in a t0ilet. She then put the newborn in a trash bag and left the bag outside.
