Family is everything, and one man in Zimbabwe bases his entire life on this idea.
Namely, this 66-year-old man has a huge family: 16 wives and 151 children, and he claims that he has sex four times a night to make sure his family will keep growing.
Misheck Nyandoro does not work and sees ‘satisfying his wives’ as a full-time job, while their duty is to clean, cook, and cater to his needs.
Even though he has already produced 151 children, he has no intention to stop now.
In fact, he intends to marry his 17th bride this winter, and his ultimate goal is reportedly to have a total of at least 100 wives and 1,000 children by the time he dies.
What’s more, all his wives are younger, and he claims that older women are not able to keep up with his insatiable sex drive.
Misheck adds that he lives a luxurious life, as his children shower him with money and gifts.
This unique man, who is from Mbire District, Mashonaland Central Province, has created a strict schedule that allows him to copulate with at least four of his brides each night.
“I go to the bedrooms that I have on my schedule. I then satisfy my wife and move onto the next room. This is my job. I have no other job.”
He added:
“I alter my behavior in the bedroom to suit the age of each of my wives. I don’t act the same with the young ones as I do with the older ones.”
The 66-year-old has been a polygamist since 1983 and admits that he does not intend to stop his reproducing ‘project’ until his death.
He maintains that all his wives are happy, and adds that at least two of them are expecting.
According to him, he has benefited from having such a big family, and he does not feel financially burdened by having to provide for his 150 children.
He explained:
“My children spoil me. I’m constantly receiving gifts and cash from them and my step-sons.”
His family has received 93 hectares of land near the mountains of Mvurwi, so they rely mainly on farming.
Fifty of Nyandoro’s children are attending school in Mbire , Herare, Mutare and Guruve. Two work for the police force, six for the Zimbabwe National Army, and 11 more have pursued different professions. Moreover, 13 of his daughters have been married off, and 13 of his sons are married.
One of his sons follows his father’s path with four wives.
Nyandoro explains the strict rules his wives have to live by:
“Every one of my wives cooks for me daily but the rule is that I only eat delicious food, anything I feel is below standard gets thrown away. They know the rules and they have promised not to get angry when I send their food back. Anything sent back should be a lesson that helps them improve.’”
The last time he got married was in 2015, and due to the financial climate in Zimbabwe, he made a pause, and this year, he intends to marry again.
After the Rhodesian bush war, in which he fought for the country’s independence, he began his project with an aim to replenish the population.
He has proven quite successful, hasn’t he?
