It is tough to go through a period for the first time. An upsetting incident came to light when a 12-year-old girl went into Dollar General to buy tampons for the first time, and the cashier made jokes about her expenses. As per the girl’s father, the incident was heartbreaking as the girl was in tears and his wife, who accompanied her to the store, was also upset.

The video was a few years old and again resurfaced on Reddit in which an angry dad can be seen walking into a Dollar General and confronting the cashier who offended his daughter. The father said, My wife and daughters came up here to buy some pads for my daughters who are 12 years old and you cracked a joke and embarrassed my wife and embarrassed my daughters you think that’s okay?

In response, the cashier said, I wasn’t trying to embarrass anybody. Father responded You cracked a joke about a 12-year-old girl buying pads. To which the cashier said, I wasn’t making a joke about that. When they were making a joke about that I said, what would the neighbours think? In anger the father said, And how do you think that’s going to make somebody feel?

The father was very angry and started threatening the clerk, saying he’d call corporate headquarters about his behaviour and possibly even do terribly if he proceeds with his behaviour. Father said, My daughters are embarrassed, crying. My wife is embarrassed, and I’m not alright with it, man. Keep your f*cking mouth shut at work, You ain’t nobody’s friend. You’re here to check people out, give them their stuff, give them their change, give them their receipt and go about your business. Nobody has time for your other sh*t. The cashier didn’t accept his mistake but he said, I’m sorry that you feel that way.
