The Pueblo Police Department is searching for a suspect in a June homicide.

In a Twitter post Tuesday, the department said officers are looking for Edgar Earl Darden Jr — a 33-year-old man wanted in connection to a June 11 homicide that took place in the area of West 11th and Francisco streets in Pueblo.

Darden is a Black male, who is approximately 5-foot-7, and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

A warrant for first-degree murder has been issued for Darden, Pueblo officials said in a Tuesday news release.

They said Darden is considered armed and dangerous and warned witnesses not to approach him.
