A woman wanted in Louisiana on a kidnapping warrant was arrested Friday in Aurora.

Aurora police contacted the woman and negotiated the release of three children, as well as the suspect’s surrender, police said in a 4:24 p.m. tweet.
Local police worked with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit in the arrest and the safe return of the children to Louisiana. An investigation is ongoing.
