It’s sad to say, but according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, there are somewhere around 275,000 robberies a year in the U.S. To put it into perspective, that’s about one robbery every 11 seconds! And with that many robberies, it’s reasonably possible you could come face to face with an armed thief.
Now for most of us, the moment we encounter fear, our body reacts with a fight-or-flight response. And again, for most of us, that means flight–a panic mode response. Well apparently, not in this store clerk’s case. He does exactly what we’d all love to do.
The CCTV footage of a store in New Zealand captures the unique reaction to armed robbery. In the video, the employee behind the counter is packing a lunch for a customer. After that, a masked man approaches the worker with a gun demanding money.
