Police officials said the 22-year-old daughter, later identified as Jackalyn, reportedly took a knife and stabbed her 36-year-old mother in the chest during an argument over her relationship with one of her friends.
Jackalyn has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after a jury found her guilty of manslaughter with a weapon or firearm in the death of her mother, Amanda.
