Having a baby is both exciting and stressful; however, having twins is one of the most exhilarating experiences a person can have! It brings with it its own set of challenges and, at times, serious repercussions for mom or baby. Giving birth is difficult on the body; one mother received the shock of her life when it came time to give birth; even the doctors were taken aback!!!
It is estimated that 10-15% of pregnancies begin with twins but end with only one child. The «vanishing twin» phenomenon is well-known, but many mothers are ignorant of it. A mother of twins is more likely to require extra care and supervision, and many things can go wrong. Sara Thistlewaite, an Ohio math teacher, decided it was time for her and her husband to start a family.
