You can never be too careful. Constant vigilance is unfortunately how we have to live our lives today to stay safe.
Amanda Florczykowski, from Longview, Texas, posted a terrifying message on social media about her experience at a store.
A couple in front of her in the checkout line struck up a conversation with her about how cute her toddler was.
The woman got uncomfortably close. The woman was very close at that point. The little girl reached for the stranger and the woman took her.
The woman backed away and said “Say bye to mommy.” OMG! Amanda grabbed her daughter back from the woman.
In her post, Amanda said that this is how a sex trafficker will work. You should be aware of the common signs of sex traffickers, so this doesn’t happen to you or your friends.
Sex traffickers work in pairs. The race, sex, age, or gender is not significant.
The sex traffickers may even follow you to your car and take your child while you are loading the car with your groceries.
Even worse, they may follow you all the way home. If you feel uncomfortable or have a situation similar to this, call for help.
If possible, don’t go shopping with your young children alone. Another adult with you may keep the traffickers at bay.
Keep your children close and don’t let strangers hold them.
