During a rough fight on July 14 in Brooklyn, teens are beating a pregnant mom and her helpless tot, and the entire incident is caught on video.
Unfortunately, crime and aggression exist, and they happen on a daily basis. Yet, many such cases have been revealed and resolved via the help of social media.
Recently, a video circulating on Twitter has disturbed many. Namely, the footage shows a group of teens attacking an Illinois mom, and even drop-kicking her helpless tot.
While it has not been confirmed, it was reported that the woman was pregnant at the time.
She was standing outside a home in the village of Brooklyn, together with her young daughter, when two young women approached and attacked her.
They pulled her hair and pushed her to the ground, while a third girl films it all. Next, a teen boy suddenly ran over and kicked the toddler in the head, and continued stomping the head of the victim.
The child is heard wailing as her mother was helplessly struggling on the ground.
When the victim finally gets off the ground and tries to walk towards the home, the young boy kicks her in the back, sending her flying forward to hit her head on the side of a doorframe.
The mother of this boy, who was not identified in the report, defended him on Facebook, claiming that the kick of the toddler was an “accident”:
“He didn’t try 2 kick that baby he tried 2 jump over the baby on to her and made a mistake…as y’all can see the baby ran from under the girl fighting while he was coming down.
My kid is not that type 2 kick a baby…accident [sic] happen.”
The victim had suffered a minor head injury.
Brooklyn police reported responding to a “disturbance” involving both adults and minors at the Thomas Terrance Apartments. They spoke to the attacked woman, who was able to identify her attackers.
Yet, the names of the teems beating a pregnant mom and her toddler have not been released. The case is under investigation, and it will be referred to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office.
