It was very lucky that Steve Jobs found Pancreatic cancer at a very early stage, what or where he failed is due to his obsession with how to live and how to build products…
From his early life onwards, he was very obsessive about the way he lives, he would do quite a lot of intermittent fasting, juice fasting, prolonged fasting etc… Which are actually good ways to improve your body. Based on his official BIO, he actually switched from drinking Tea to just drinking really hot water, because it’s mostly the same satisfaction you get. If you really try for a couple of days you would know it’s actually true.
So his obsession with how to live was actually a really really good way of living life.
But what went wrong is, when he found that he had Pancreatic cancer, he went deep in thinking of the actual disease and did searches/research as much as possible, and he concluded, that eradicating a disease like cancer would be done right through not cutting yourself, rather doing cleansing and natural remedy to reverse the condition. Which is actually would have to be the right way of fixing this disease. But our humanity is not advanced enough in natural remedies and reversing the condition, and as a whole society, we are obsessed with fixing the disease rather than reversing a disease. (natural remedies currently are not regularised and a lot of scams)
Thus rather than accepting the reality that he has to open up his body and fix the disease, he obsessed and fought everyone around him, to do the right way, which is reversing this condition. Again there is not enough proof we could reverse cancer right now, but that’s what he thought its the right way and obsessed about it.
Actually, he created really good products, because of his obsession with how a product should be used, true to its nature. eradicating unnecessary and making the product true to its use. His obsession with products got us really good products.
But his obsession over how a disease to be cured, even though it’s right in what he is doing, time is not in his favour, within 9 months of identification, further scans showed cancer progressed and it was aggressive. That’s when he gave up on his obsession on gone back to the doctor’s suggestion.
Still, that was for that moment, and due to his obsession, he had struggles accepting the medical ways and kept opposing things which he didn’t accept right. Causing his disease to overtake him soon.
A man obsessed with doing things right!!!
