A local man is missing for over a month and Denver police are asking for the public’s help in finding him.

James “Jay” Montoya, 26, was last seen about 2:30 a.m. April 2 leaving the Hangar 101 Bar & Grill on West Jewell Avenue in Lakewood, according to a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers alert.

Denver police, who are heading the missing person investigation, said Montoya was last seen in a sedan with a distinctive paint job.

Montoya last posted a snap chat from the area of West Alameda Avenue and Federal Boulevard,  according to Denver7. His family said that Montoya left the bar with someone they did not recognize.
