When you lose a purse in a public place, it isn’t long before you realize with a sinking feeling that you may never see it – or any of the valuable items inside it – again.
This was a feeling that teacher Lindsay Jones became familiar with as she drove home from a vacation with her family in New Mexico.

On the way home to Texas, they had stopped by at the Chick-fil-A in Lubbock for a quick meal.
Three hours later at a gas station, she realized to her horror that she had left her purse behind in the restaurant.
