Widow Called Police About Dead Man, But Her ‘Off’ Door Got Their Attention

An Arizona cop has gone beyond the call of duty in order to help an elderly woman repair her front door’s lock.

In Glendale, Arizona, Glendale Police Sgt. Jeff Turney make the choice to come to the rescue after getting a call from grieving elderly widow Geraldeine Tabor, who called and reported that her husband had passed away in their home.

Once cops showed up to her home, they discovered that the front door lock was in need of repair.

“It was a lock that’s normally used the inside of the house for a bathroom and it wouldn’t latch, there was no latch to it and she was using a dead bolt to try and keep it locked at night,” Turney told KSAZ. Turney knew what he needed to do next. Click here to continue reading the article.
