His name is Caleb Whitby. He was sandwiched between two giant trucks in a highway pileup. A huge truck lost control just behind him and smashed into his small car. The impact triggered a chain reaction that damaged 26 vehicles. Steel crumpled. Glass shattered. Cars folded like paper. In the middle of all of it was Whitby, trapped inside what used to be a car, now just a crushed metal shell.
Photographs of the scene show something that looks like a murder scene. The truck behind him had driven so far into his vehicle that there was barely any car left to see.
