An old man had experienced a heart attack. Doctors at the hospital knew he would likely not make it through the night, and his family was informed.
Nurses waited for any family members to show up, and eventually, a young Marine officer stepped into the ward. A nurse, remembering that the old man’s son was a serviceman, took the young officer’s hand and brought him to the bedside. The nurse told the old man that his son was there.
