Just six months after saying “I do,” a Michigan woman’s fairytale marriage turned into a nightmare—one that ended with her body lying outside a house on Adams Street, riddled with bullets.
Marcus Durayalle Lofton, 42, is behind bars without bail, charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm possession after allegedly shooting his wife, Alicia Danielle Lofton, multiple times on August 17. Police found her body outside a home near the intersection of Adams Street and Union Avenue. Officers arrested Marcus the following day while he was walking along the 1200 block of North Avenue NE.
