A routine day at home quickly turned into a medical emergency after a young boy suffered a serious head injury while playing in his backyard, highlighting how quickly accidents involving children can escalate.
According to the child’s mother, the incident occurred while her son, Kacey, was playing outside with the family dog. During play, the dog accidentally tripped him, causing the child to fall face-first into the metal leg of a swingset.
