Denver police investigating killing near Green Valley Ranch

Denver police have launched a homicide investigation after an adult woman was found dead Sunday afternoon inside a home near Green Valley Ranch.

ALERT: Around 3 PM yesterday, #DPD responded to the 18700 block on a nature unknown. At the scene, an adult female victim was located and pronounced deceased. This incident is being investigated as a homicide. Updates will be posted to this thread when available. #Denver pic.twitter.com/gdM3bwEp8C

The woman was found around 3 p.m. Sunday in the 18700 block of E. 58th Avenue, police said on Twitter.

Authorities released few details other than news of the homicide investigation.
